However, this park is on the barrier islands and can only be accessed using A1A. A unique aspect of this park is that visitors can drive over the A1A bridge and see the surrounding area.

The Northern Side (Brevard County)

Rocks protect this area, but it's still important to be careful, especially during high tide. The Large Fishing Jetty is a popular place to fish and is often crowded by the time noon rolls around.

The Southern Side (Indian River County)
The southern side of this park is a bit smaller, but it is still worth visiting. 51 basic campsites can be rented and offer basic utilities: electricity, water, and a grill. The Small Fishing Pier isn't as big as its northern counterpart, but it's also not as crowded as the other.
The Sebastian Fishing Museum transports visitors back in time to this area's primary industry. The museum's building is located in the parking lot, close to the water's edge. The McLarty Treasure Museum shows off the hidden riches buried beneath the waves.
