Summary: The Maritime Hammock Sanctuary is 150 acres. It is located in Melbourne Beach near the south eastern end of Brevard County. 

Address: 6200 S Highway A1A, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951. 

Price: Free. 

Hours: Day Use. Open 7 days a week. 

Parking: Yes, a small dirt parking lot on the western side of A1A. 

Land Activities: Hiking, Wildlife Viewing. 

Trails: Yes. There are multiple entry and exit points. The trail goes close to the Indian River Lagoon, but there are no access points. 

Camping: None.

Water Activities: None. Sanctuary is between the Indian River Lagoon and the Altantic Ocean. 

Unique Features: The Coastal Hammock. 

The Ridiculous Otter Opinion: This is one of the most interesting sanctuaries in Brevard County. It feels like you've entered a coastal jungle in the first half mile of the trail. I highly recommend that you visit this sanctuary in the dry season because it is completely underwater when it rains.
