Enchanted Forest Sanctuary

Summary: Enchanted Forest Sanctuary is 470 acres. It is located in Titusville, in the northern part of Brevard County.

Hours: 9 am - 5 pm. Tuesday - Sunday.

Address: 444 Columbia Boulevard, Titusville, FL 32780.

Price: Free.

Parking: Yes, one lot in front of the nature center.

Land Activities: Hiking, Wildlife Viewing.

Trails: There are multiple short hikes in different environments. The Magnolia Loop is one of the longest hikes at over a mile, plus more to get there. The Ridge Trail is nice because it stays entirely in the Oak Hammock habitat. The Biodiversity Loop and Tomoka Trail each have a boardwalk, which makes those hikes a little flatter than the others. I've done each of these hikes, which are all very doable in a day. The Biodiversity Loop is my favorite due its length and overall terrain.

Camping: None.

Water Activities: None.

Unique Features: Nature Center, Historic Canal, Various Florida Ecosystems.

The Ridiculous Otter Opinion: This is one of the top five Brevard County sanctuaries that I enjoy visiting. It is built up but still enjoyable enough to be worth it. The Magnolia Loop Trail specifically is far enough away from the center that visitors can feel like they are in the middle of the Florida wilderness. This sanctuary is good for young and novice hikers who want well-defined boundaries. The Addison Canal is an interesting historical spot because it is over one hundred years old. There are a couple overlooks that have good views of the canal.
